Independent Research in Fundamental Science

Noethron is an independent research initiative established to pursue foundational scientific research and develop work intended to contribute to human knowledge and benefit.

Overview

Plot of the normalized localization coefficient χ̄xx versus dimensionless coupling k0L, showing a sharp transition from zero to a metastable plateau near 0.6 before rising smoothly to saturation at 1.0.
(a)
Scatter plot of the joint MeV and 511-keV radiation manifold, showing external-dynamics overlap points, a core family of points with ΔQ ≤ 1, and a compact representative point at the intersection of the 0.75–3 MeV and 511-keV bands.
(b)
Figure 1. (a) Fixed point iteration determining the mean coherence of a free particle packet as a function of its energy and width. (b) Determination of the decay energy of dark matter by constraining the emission rate and gravitational environment.

§ 1

Research

Noethron investigates foundational questions in physics and develops theoretical frameworks together with quantitative tests, computational analyses, and reproducible research materials.
All research programmes

1.

Foundational Physics

Examination of the structural principles underlying physical theory, including symmetries, conservation laws, and the logical relationships between established frameworks.

View research: Foundational Physics

2.

Quantum Theory

Studies of the formal structure of quantum theory and its consequences, with attention to quantities that can be computed explicitly and compared with experiment.

§ 4

Research Principles

The standards against which Noethron research is written and should be evaluated.
I.Transparency
Clearly distinguish assumptions, derivations, numerical inputs, and empirical comparisons.
II.Reproducibility
Provide sufficient methods, code, and data for quantitative results to be independently examined.
III.Falsifiability
State quantitative predictions and identify where proposed models can be tested against observation or experiment.
IV.Revision
Treat scientific work as subject to correction and refinement as evidence and analysis improve.
